Leading Integrated Marketing Agency Expands Management Team with Addition of Digital and Data Industry Leader

TIM HIPPERSON JOINS G2 UK AS GROUP CEOG2 UK, a leading London-based integrated marketing agency, announced today that it had appointed former RMG Connect Chief Executive, Tim Hipperson, as UK group CEO. Hipperson’s arrival marks his return to WPP Group after he left RMG Connect in 2009 following its merger into JWT, an initiative successfully completed under his leadership.

Hipperson will take the reins at G2 UK with immediate effect – which includes operating units G2 Branding and Design, and G2 Data Dynamics – and will report to G2 EMEA chief operating officer Pietro Leone. In this new position he will be responsible for driving the continued growth and expansion of this market leading agency and its integrated offer in the UK.

With over 20 years of marketing agency leadership experience, Hipperson was most recently instrumental in turning around RMG Connect, successfully building its proposition and strengths in strategic planning, data and analytics and digital technology platforms. Previously he was global director of digital relationship marketing at FCBi, and CEO and managing director of MRM London, part of The McCann-Erickson WorldGroup of companies.
