Marketing News: MidlandHR wins five year contract with Swan Housing Group
Nottingham, 09 August 2010 – Swan Housing has chosen MidlandHR's iTrent solution, which provides a single platform for HR, payroll, talent management and workforce planning, alongside payroll outsourcing services. Based in Essex, Swan Housing Group started life in 1991 as Basildon Community Housing Association (BCHA) and today manages over 10,000 homes in Essex, Suffolk and East London.
One of the main drivers for Swan Housing choosing MidlandHR's technology and services overall was the need for a single system to support modern best practice and enable the most efficient operating models, in particularly, manager and employee self service.

Marketing News: IMEX APPOINTS SPINNAKER AS ITS FIRST EVER DM AGENCY
IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events, has appointed integrated agency Spinnaker following a two way pitch process.
The IMEX exhibition runs over three days in Frankfurt, Germany and plays host to 3,500 exhibitors from 157 different countries. Exhibitors represent national and regional tourist offices, major hotel groups, airlines, destination management companies, service providers and trade associations amongst others.
Over 3,700 hosted buyers (who travel and stay free as guests of the organisers) from around 60 world markets also visited the exhibition in 2009, contributing to a total of almost 9,000 visitors for the show's busiest three days in its seven year history.

Marketing News: MidlandHR puts its hands in the air for Humberside Police's payroll process
Humberside Police, covering the districts of North-East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire, has partnered with HR, payroll and talent management specialist, MidlandHR.
The force has signed a five year contract for the Payroll Bureau Service which is underpinned by the web enabled iTrent solution and administered by a team of highly skilled payroll professionals at MidlandHR.
MidlandHR will host the iTrent system from its secure data centre in Nottingham and will facilitate the timely payment of the police service's 6,500 people including officers, civilian staff, volunteers, police pensioners and Police Authority members. By adopting a bureau service, Humberside Police will pass on responsibility for a number of payroll processes, including that of ensuring compliance with the ever changing legislation surrounding HR and payroll.

Marketing News: Indesit Appoints Line Up for Retail Launch Events
Indesit Company, the UK's leading household appliance manufacturer, has appointed Line Up to launch its 2009 range of Hotpoint, Indesit and Cannon products to independent electrical retailers with two major events in March 2009.
The first event will be staged at the Ritz-Carlton in County Wicklow, Ireland, on 10th March. It marks the first time that Indesit Company has staged a dedicated launch in Ireland and over 200 independent retailers from the country are expected to attend.
Three weeks later, the UK launch will be held at Battersea Evolution, London. Here, a total of 900 delegates are expected to attend, in groups of 300 at a time, with three shows running between 29th March to 1st April.
Each event will feature a mixture of multi-media presentations, interactive product exhibitions and dinner with entertainment. Line Up is providing a complete solution for both events, from design and technical production to video creation and management of all logistics.

Marketing News: Eloqua success in Europe exceeds 1,000 marketing user milestone
