The Software Bureau Wood for Trees, the database consultancy founded by ex-Occam owner and Commercial Director Jim Baggett, has become the latest company to purchase The Software Bureau's flagship data-management software Cygnus.
With its data cleaning, deduplication and suppression capabilities, Cygnus - known as the “bureau in a box” solution - will enable Wood for Trees to offer a fully functioning, up-and-running bureau service in a matter of days. Utilising the embedded suppression module of Cygnus, the company will be able to suppress its clients’ data using some of the industry’s leading suppression files including Mortascreen, Disconnect and Re Connect, The Bereavement Register (TBR), GAS, MPS and now the Royal Mail’s National Change Of Address (NCOA) file. Jim Baggett, Founder, Wood for Trees said: “As a young company we needed a solution that could provide all the services of bureau for our clients, whilst also being cost-effective. The Software Bureau’s offering Cygnus offers us just that.” David Murray, Sales Director at the Software Bureau said: “Jim’s knowledge and experience of the data industry is second to none, so for him to choose Cygnus ahead of other data-processing software on the market is testament to its overall effectiveness and superior performance.” |
