The Data Partnership, one of the UK's leading providers of consumer data to the direct marketing industry, has launched DP Online, a new division which will specialise in online consumer surveys and lead generation.
The new online division will complement The Data Partnership's existing telephone survey offering and will enable companies in all market sectors to collect opted-in, accurate email addresses attached to detailed consumer lifestyle data.
DP Online will power a new online survey website branded 'Britain's Voice', which will feature sector-specific surveys and aim to give consumers a regular platform to air their preferences, opinions and motives. The new website will allow customised questions to be placed onto the online survey, enabling companies to collect all the consumer information needed to implement highly targeted, highly effective email, lead generation or market research campaigns.
Recognising that many lead-generation campaigns are time sensitive, ‘Britain’s Voice’ has the capability to deliver real-times leads from the survey, allowing companies to communicate instantly with responders that have shown a positive interest in its products and services. The platform’s unique validation technology also ensures that only the most accurate and responsive leads are supplied to the client. To drive traffic to ‘Britain’s Voice’, DP Online will invest heavily in SEO and will employ specialist affiliate partners to grow the number of responders. The surveys will be incentivised with competitions to encourage completion, however, to ensure the quality of responses is kept high, individual questions will not be incentivised to ensure responders answer with no bias. The Data Partnership has brought in Mike Fraser, previously of Mailtrack Media, TMN Media and Claritas/Acxiom, to head up the new division.
