Leading online recruitment company MyJobGroup.co.uk (http://www.myjobgroup.co.uk), which has the UK's fastest-growing network of regional jobsites, has appointed an agency to provide national PR support as it looks to continue its rapid expansion in 2010.

National Online Recruiter To Benefit From Added Publicity from Umpf

Established in June 2005, the company specialises in regional recruitment websites and now has more than 300 local jobsites in the UK, adding 100 in 2009 alone – it is looking to capitalise on that growth with a national PR campaign to expand its market share as the UK prepares itself for recovery in 2010.

Following a competitive three-way pitch, Leeds-based consumer and online PR specialists Umpf (http://www.umpf.co.uk) will manage a national PR campaign incorporating social media activity.

Lee Fayer, Managing Director at MyJobGroup.co.uk, said: “We are already seeing a recovery in the jobs market and following considerable expansion last year we wanted an agency to support our growth strategy with campaigns that will drive new customers and jobseekers.

“We were impressed by Umpf’s creativity and the way they demonstrated a clear understanding of our brand and our business objectives.  They presented some stand out ideas that put them well ahead of the other agencies.

“What impressed us most about their pitch was the creative approach to the objectives we set – the campaign proposals cleverly mix traditional channels with social media ideas which of course fit well with our online model.

“We are delighted to appoint them to manage our PR across the UK at this pivotal time and look forward to seeing their campaign proposals come to fruition.”

Umpf Owner Adrian Johnson said: “With more than 300 local job websites and a rapidly-expanding national presence, MyJobGroup.co.uk is ideally positioned to capitalise on the upturn in the economy and increase its market share.

“Our proposed strategy focussed on the fundamentals to their online business model, namely driving jobseeker CVs and new clients, and we believe the creative approach we presented, using both traditional and online media, will reap rewards for our new client.”
