The campaign objective
Securikey came to us wanting a security products SEO campaign to “nicely nestle” them on the first page of Google. Their aim was to improve their rankings and traffic but they were very aware that they did not want to out-compete their re-sellers. Securikey also wanted to improve their site in order to provide more support to their retailers.
What we did
This security products SEO campaign consisted of on-page optimisation, off-page link-building, content creation and a re-development of significant parts of their site.
The on-page optimisation part of the security products SEO strategy meant making sure that every page of their site used the correct tags such as meta title and h1 tags to ensure that each page focused on it’s keyword. We also looked to reduce the errors that the system produced which was harming the performance of the site on the search engines.
We then moved on to the content of the site and created a new “Help & Support” section in order to provide more support to their re-sellers. We were able to use this new content to then reach out to other websites and let them know of these new tools that were available to them
We also added a news section that contains the latest industry and product news as well as expert whitepapers.
Finally we have also been working to increase the authority of site by increasing the number of links pointing back to Securikey from high quality and relevant websites.
The security products SEO campaign is still continuing but we have already seen improvements in traffic from search engines and their keywords starting to “nicely nestle”.
